My Biography
Kayiri studied classical violin at the Conservatoire de musique de Gatineau, as well as classical interpretation in Montreal and pop and jazz interpretation at UQAM. She has participated in numerous training sessions and tours across Canada, France, the United States, Senegal, Morocco, and Brazil.
She has played in several symphony orchestras, including l’Orchestre de la francophonie, l’Orchestre réseau des conservatoires, and l’Orchestre du Conservatoire de Gatineau, and has received several grants and awards, such as the grant from the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, LOJIC grant, MUZ’s mixed showcases prize, the Sily d’argent, and many more. In addition to her violin skills, she will touch you with the warmth of her voice and the power of her latest favorite tool, rap.
She is recognized for her dynamism and incredible stage presence, and has four albums to her credit – Out Of Odd Waters, N’Essence, Mi-Blanche, Bébé, t’es unique – and is currently working on her fifth project, which will seduce you with its originality, sincerity, and the importance of the topics it addresses.
